Spring Break in DC | Days 4 & 5

This post will conclude the photos from our trip to DC. I decided to merge days 4 and 5 because the last day was mostly spent driving home.

Very, very early on the 4th day, we took a tour of the White House. I didn't get any pictures there of course, since its the White House and they don't like people taking pictures there. After this we stood in line for a long time at the supreme court, hoping to get in for 3 minutes, but we didn't make it in because we had to run across the street and stand in line to take a tour of the Capitol.

My attempt at a picture of the group riding the train under the capitol. I kind of missed.

We found John Mccain on the train right after we got off.

We tried to see how close we could get to this squirrel before it ran off.

After the tour of the capitol, we walked around to see all the monuments.

Group pictures can be hard

This artsy picture was taken by my sister.

Day for was the longest day and was very tiring. According to one person from our group, we walked around 11-12 miles this day! My feet were a little sore after all that walking.

In the morning on Day 5 we quickly packed up and drove to Gettysburg where we took a driving tour. Our tour guide was a little hard to keep up with but it was fun anyways.
